Childrens Advocacy Mentoring Advice & Care

Helping children SERVICES throughout the UK to be the best they can be

CAMAC Services was established to provide tailor-made consultation for providers of children’s and adult services. CAMAC Services work independently as consultants to children services and also collaboratively with independent social care professionals, both as individuals and within companies. We support and guide providers to raise their standards in order to achieve good and better outcomes for all their services in line with current Legislation and Guidance.

CAMAC Services will help you to prepare for your Inspections by carrying out mock inspections based on the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).

Return Home Interviews

CAMAC Services can provide for an independent Return Home Interview when a child who goes missing returns home. This is essential, as it provides the child with an opportunity to engage with an independent person when they return home.

CAMAC Services are designed to assist providers to effectively respond, in a timely manner to complaints or allegations against staff, or against the organisation.

Our Values

CAMAC Services are underpinned by the ethos of the “Every Child Matters” UK government initiative of 2003. CAMAC stands for Children’s Advocacy Mentoring Advice and Care. This means that CAMAC Services and all its associates have a responsibility to ensure that service providers are continuously improving their services, raising the bar to safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults who are receiving any form of care services.

Testimonial

Anna House has been utilising the services of CAMAC Care Services UK Ltd for five years. Cheryl Carter, the managing director of CAMAC Care Services routinely conducts our Regulation 44 visits on a monthly basis scrutinising our record keeping, company policies and procedures and how the staff work effectively and efficiently with our young people.
Cheryl is very astute and pays attention to detail. Anna House is heavily reliant on this as we and Cheryl are constantly looking for ways in which we can improve and maintain our high quality of care for our young people. This is reflected in our recent Ofsted inspection which resulted in us receiving a rating of Good. I would highly recommend the services of CAMAC Care Services UK Ltd to any care home that has a desire to produce and maintain a high quality of care for their young people.

Margaret Odiya
Registered Provider

When Cheryl first became our Independent Visitor, our home had just received its initial Ofsted Inspection, and were fortunate to be rated as, “requires improvement”. As new home with limited experience Cheryl provided us with support and guidance that was essential during this period. Whilst remaining independent and objective, Cheryl became an integral part of our team; always available to offer her considerable expertise and experience on a diverse range of issues. Cheryl is able to remain clear and focused on what the best outcomes are for young people; and how they should be achieved within the Ofsted Regulations; while developing supportive and collaborative relationships with our staff and young people. This balance between genuine support and challenge has enabled us to grow and develop as a home and organisation and is something for which we are extremely grateful
